“ Our favorite pizza place. We would go whenever we could. I loved the cheese slice and my wife loved the Pesto to no end. The service was great and fast. Always busy but well worth the wait. “ The waft of pizza was intoxicating, and you can sit outside with your slice of 'zza under the sun and a few blocks from the beach! What can be better than that?!! There are many cute boutique-y shops nearby, so there is plenty to do before or afterwards. Parking can be a little tough sometimes because it's mostly street parking, but I've always found a spot within 10 mins so it's doable! The only "ding" is they didn't heat up the slice very much, so it was only warm in some bites. We were starving so we didn't ask them to heat it more, but next time we will because the pizza was delish. We just know it'd be even better tasting if they were hot. ”

“ My friends and I went surfing, and walked here for a quick bite. I love pizza, and was excited to check this place out. It has very quick service, you order at the front and pay there. The server heats up your pizza, and calls out the order when it's ready. There is open seating in this very surfy-like restaurant, so we took and seat and enjoyed our slices. I got the Santa Barbara pizza, as per recommendation from the server. I loved how crisp the crust was, and how plentiful they were with toppings. I wish they had more pizza options available! It is just a basic joint, but I enjoyed the slice a lot. ”

“ HUGE slices for great prices- I paid around $7 for a slice of combination pizza and I'd say it's the one slice was the size of a typical two slices of pizza. There's always a bunch of slice options to choose from, with a daily special that rotates. There's a bit of indoor seating as well as outdoor, but it can get quite busy. Employees are always nice and speedy! They don't skimp on toppings, and the crust is delicious and fluffy although I do wish it was a bit saltier. ”

“ Pleasure Pizza is close to the beach just off 41st Street in the Pleasure Point area of Santa Cruz. This hip, surf-theme pizza place offers a huge selection of specialty pizzas. Slices are large and available for on-site dining or to take away. Seating is available indoors or outdoors on their wrap-around front patio. The staff are very friendly and work quickly to ensure everyone's orders are serviced promptly. ”

“ Stumbled upon pleasure pizza one afternoon with my family. So glad I did. Pizza was delicious, they create pizzas with a variety of toppings, and there's a pizza for everyone. I had their meat lovers pizza (that's what I'm calling it), my wife had an awesome artichoke, spinach and pepper jack pizza. And my 6 year old daughter crushed one of their HUGE cheese slices, and she never finishes her food. She loved it! Everything was delicious. The restaurant is a bit of a throwback, but it screamed pizzeria - and as a born and raised New Yorker, I've seen my share of pizzerias. It was a quiet Monday afternoon, but I can see it being very lively in the spacious, open dining room. I got some heavy owner vibes from the gentleman running the place. He was friendly and accommodating, and by the taste of the food, I feel like everything is scratch made, including the delicious ranch dressing which we dipped everything in. Loved my experience at Pleasure Pizza, I will definitely bring my family back here the next time we are in downtown Santa Cruz. ”

“ Pleasure pizza is one of the staples of Santa Cruz. The shop is small but has decent amount of seating inside and outside. The pizza slices are thin crust and delicious. Each size is gigantic so I was full after one slice. There are various options- we got the 1. Pesto pizza- it had an abundant amount of basil pesto (this one was my favorite) 2. Juliet'a garden- pesto, feta, red onions and red and green peppers 3. Santa Barbara- Mozzarella, Parmesan & pepper jack cheese,spinach, artichoke hearts, and green onions. The service was quick and each slice was delicious and hot. Definitely will come back again. ”

“ Ohhhh man - if you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing Pleasure Point Pizza, you're completely missing out!!! I love coming here and getting a slice of pizza or a large, so I can have leftovers! Hee They have very unique combos like their Santa Barbara! I neglected to take a picture this time because it was a long 10 hour day of work and as soon as I got home I just ate what I could with a glass of wine and that was my nightcap. I love the fact they sell pizza by the slice and it's not just boring cheese in combination! They always make a couple extra unique specialty pizzas and sell them by the slice as well!! They have a very cute little outdoor patio area also! I will see you next weekend! ”
